About Us
A park where the environment is key but it is family friendly.
The Friends of Ley Hill Park are a group of friendly local residents and park users who in 2009,wantedto help and improve the park.
The park was once the back garden of the Kunzle family and then given to the People of Birmingham. It is now run by the BCC Parks Department.
So if you want to become a Friend of Ley Hill Park or have a say in the way it is managed and how it will develop please contact us. Folhpark@blueyonder.co.uk or via our Facebook site

Our Story
THE FRIENDS OF LEY HILL PARK FORMED IN 2008.
The friends do a lots of fun jobs in the park. e.g litter picks, bramble clearing, chopping down trees, planting more trees, wild flower planting, bulb planting (well where did you think all those daffs came from?) etc etc. We do all this with local volunteers and help and advice from the Rangers at Woodgate Valley.
We are a friendly bunch so feel free to come along and join in. every Thursday at 10.30. Do as little or as much as you feel able. We meet about 3 times during the winter on a Sunday to tackle some bigger jobs. These aren’t any harder it just means we do the jobs for longer so we complete them and make the park a nicer place.
